About Marshall, MI - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Marshall, Michigan is part of the Battle Creek Metro Statistical Area. It serves as the seat of Calhoun County, and as of 2010, nearly 7,100 people called the city home. Marshall was founded by Sidney Ketchum in 1830, and originally, the community was a frontrunner for state capital. In fact, a governor’s mansion was even constructed here, but the city ultimately lost to Lansing by one vote.

Visitors to Marshall will find no shortage of things to see and do. There are many iconic homes in the area, the most popular of which is the Honolulu House found on North Kalamazoo Avenue. Other popular landmarks include the Bosserd Family Farm and the Brooks Memorial Fountain, and local museums include the U.S. Postal Museum and the Governor’s Mansion Museum. Visitors may also like to check out Dark Horse Brewing Company, the Franke Center for the Arts, and the City of Marshall Riverwalk.

Weather conditions vary in Marshall, some of which can be extreme. This is especially true during the winter, as temperatures fall well below freezing. Daytime highs often struggle to jump into the mid-30s during January, so residents need to have the right gas or electric furnace at home to stay safe. Those in the market for a new system should be sure to look for a high AFUE rating for optimal energy efficiency.

Very warm temperatures and high humidity are common during Marshall summers. With temperatures that reach well into the 80s during the peak of the season, it is important that residents have the right climate controls at home. A central air conditioner is ideal for homeowners who enjoy peace and quiet while also regulating an indoor climate. While this system may emit a soft humming sound, it is quieter than a window unit. Residents who have previously needed to run several window A/C units in different rooms at the same time will especially appreciate how quiet central air conditioning can be.
