About Pennfield, MI - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Pennfield Charter Township is located in Calhoun County, and it is part of the Battle Creek Metro Statistical Area. This Michigan community was home to about 9,000 people as of 2010, and its close proximity to Battle Creek makes it a popular town for commuters. Pennfield is home to three elementary schools (North Pennfield, Purdy, and Dunlap), a middle school, and Pennfield High School.

While Pennfield doesn’t have any major attractions, there are a few businesses located here to support area residents. The Pennfield Animal Hospital treats local animals, and the Hamilton Landscape Supply and Nursery is a great place to get some flowers during the spring planting season. Several churches also call the community home, including Pennfield Presbyterian Church and Grace Community Church. For more entertainment opportunities, locals need only to take a short drive into Battle Creek, where there are various movie theaters, Binder Park Zoo, and a handful of golf courses.

Four distinct seasons make their way into Pennfield throughout the year, allowing for a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. The summer season is arguably the most popular for getting outside, as temperatures are very warm and skies tend to stay sunny. Potential dangers do exist, including the possibility for thunderstorms, and high humidity levels can leave the air feeling quite uncomfortable. Most Pennfield residents opt for central air conditioning to stay cool and comfortable throughout the season.

Winter weather in Pennfield is markedly different from summertime conditions. Temperatures fall below the freezing point, and snowfall can be moderate to heavy, depending on the year. To stay warm throughout the season, homeowners have historically chosen between gas and electric furnaces, but hybrid systems are now available utilize both. These innovative systems automatically select the most efficient fuel source for a home, meaning residents will stay comfortable throughout the season at the lowest possible cost.
