About Nashville, MI - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Nashville, Michigan is a village found in Barry County. As of 2010, about 1,630 people called the community home, and early history dates back to the 1830s. The initial plat was purchased in 1836, and the community was later used as a half-way stopping point between the railroad terminals at Jackson and Grand Rapids. Nashville is located 22 miles north of Battle Creek and 36 miles southwest of Lansing.

There are several interesting places to visit when passing through Nashville. 66 Unique Antiques offers antiques from over 100 dealers, and Maple Valley Pharmacy serves as the local drug store. Area restaurants include Country Kettle Café, Good Time Pizza, and R&D’s Pizzeria, and the MOO-ville Creamery offers both a sweet treat and play area for the kids. There is also a golf course located within the village - Mulberry Fore.

Life in Nashville revolves around varied weather conditions, which change with the seasons. Summer weather here is arguably one of the most popular times to get outdoors, as temperatures are very warm. With highs that average in the low-80s and muggy air, residents will still want to have a central air conditioning system at home. These units will consistently cool a space while also improving air quality.

As is typical with a humid continental climate zone, winters in Nashville are cold. Temperatures fall into the 20s and 30s, and the potential for heavy snowfall leads to dangerous conditions both indoors and outdoors. Residents in search of a new gas or electric furnace should seek out an energy efficient model, while those with existing systems should have them serviced during the milder fall months. During a regular tune-up, a Nashville heating technician can ensure the system receives proper airflow, as restriction can strain the system and lead to a shorter lifespan and an increase in repairs.
